I would like to use our black water tank when camping in colder weather (I am making payments on the bathroom 12 months of the year, I would like to use it 12 months of the year).
another_newfie wrote:Elizabeth are your tanks exposed to able to install it? If so, it is a REALLY easy job and if you choose to go with a 12V/120V model you can just use the 120V side and plug right in when you want to use them. You'll also need to trace out the water lines to ensure that none of them (at least the ones going to the toilet) are in nasty freeze prone areas. Or you can just use flush water and leave the system winterized.

Yes, they are completely exposed.
GoingKZ has a picture of them (sort of). http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2231965260082848560UDwSxs
If it's easy then it might be something we will think about doing.

It's easy, you literally peel off the membrane from the pad and stick it to the clean underside of the tank. Once it's on, it''s on! They can not be removed from the tank without destroying the pad, it's a permanent installation. After that it's just a matter of wiring her up, which you have a few friends to help you with and your done
