fans & covers

Postby back40 » Wed Dec 23, 2009 12:57 am

I had a fantastic fan with thermostat and an aero-flo cover in my last trailer. The fan was quiet and worked well but the cover was hard to keep clean.
The new max-fan is interesting http://is.gd/5yaej but would probably not work as well as a fixed cover in snowy conditions.
The max-air II looks like it has the most open area...Any suggestions for covers and other fans appreciated.

Have always used the Max-Air covers or their clones with great success. Only have a stock fan in the bathroom so I can't say on that yet.

I have Maxx Air covers on all my vents, WHY the manufacturers don't install them as standard equipment is beyond me. They work great.

Fan's, well I have a rather lengthy tail of woe on the fan story, suffice to say, I should have installed TURBO MAXX fan's like Trailblazer did.

All the pro's that the maxx air gives you and a plus of having the fan motor (noisy part) OUTSIDE the trailer.

We would have put a turbo maxx on our rig if we had the cash last year, did put on the maxx airs though and ya, why don't they install them at the factory it makes a world of difference. Never closed our vents down at all.
